Families visiting Charmingfare Farm’s Children’s Trick-or-Treat can choose between two festive experiences — Sweet by Day or Spooky by Dusk. Each offers its own unique way to enjoy our Halloween-themed trail, live entertainment, candy stops, and farmyard fun. Whether you prefer bright fall days or the gentle glow of twilight, it’s a safe, family-friendly Halloween event in New Hampshire where kids can trick-or-treat in a fun and secure farm setting, creating smiles, laughter, and lasting memories.
Perfect for families looking for festive fun! Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride or a tractor-train ride along a Halloween-themed trail decorated for the season. With candy stops, live entertainment, and farmyard adventures, it’s a day full of smiles and sweet surprises.
On Saturdays, Charmingfare Farm stays open a little later so families can experience the farm as the sun sets and twilight settles over the fields. The barns glow warmly, pumpkins shimmer with soft light, and the air fills with gentle Halloween magic. It’s a not-too-scary, family-friendly way for younger children to enjoy the season’s spookier side — before nightfall.
Halloween Juggling Spectacular!

In this Halloween-themed performance, Jason will amaze you with his high-energy juggling, off-beat comedy, and “dangerous” DANGER!
Jason Tardy’s multifaceted training and over 25 years of experience in the performing arts has brought him all over the US and abroad. Some highlights include Disney Cruise Ships, the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the Golden Phoenix Casino, and even The White House in Washington DC three times!

Tractor Train or Horse-Drawn Wagon Ride – Candy Stop
Either the Tractor Train or the Horse-Drawn Wagon will take you on our Halloween decorated trail.
Barrel Train Ride – Candy Stop
Kids climb aboard the tractor-pulled barrel train for a fun ride around our kiddie pumpkin patch. Close at 4 pm
Stuff the Scarecrow
Kids can stuff a scarecrow with straw and hay and bring a fall friend to life!
Corn Pool Play Area
A giant sandbox, but filled with dried corn kernels. Close at 4 pm
Witch in the Woods – Candy Stop
Be on the lookout for our witch who lives in the woods amongst our North American Wildlife exhibits. Our friendly witch will be sure to have tricks and a very special treat for you.
Barnyard Candy – Candy Stop
Look for our costumed characters while scrolling through the Barnyard. Have your candy bags ready to collect some sweet treats.
Visit the Barnyard Animals
The Barnyard Animals are available to visit either before or after your ride.
Pumpkin Art
Children can decorate their own sugar pumpkin (include with purchase). Each child will receive their very own individually packaged pumpkin decorating kit of their choosing. Close at 4 pm
