Charmingfare Farm offers a unique discovery experience for your children. Field Trips are primarily offered on Thursdays & Fridays during spring and summer. In the fall during October visits are scheduled mostly on Fridays.  Please keep in mind dates are limited so don’t delay be sure to book online today!

Field Trip Information

Booking a Field Trip
Reservations may be made online.  Please keep in mind children two years or older, along with teachers, chaperones, and bus drivers entering farm must be included in this count. 

You can make a down payment of 15% or pay the full amount at the time of booking.

In case of inclement weather please take a moment to review our Weather Policy.

You Should Know

Advance reservations are required. Must be a state licensed school, day care or summer camp to take advantage of this discounted rate.  Additional members of your group paying separately or will be charged the full rate of $22 for General Admission.

  • Final Payment
    One person must pay for the entire group via credit card, business/school check, or cash in large bills on the day of your visit.  The farm is unable to give refunds or cut a check or give back cash for the difference if your check is greater than the amount due. We will place a credit on your account with the farm.

  • Daily Schedule
    On the day you arrive the farm will have maps and a schedule of the day’s rides and any activities your group should know about. Our schedules are determined in the morning by our staff prior your group arriving. We cannot provide any advance schedules.

  • Parking / Buses
    Parking is free of charge. If you are traveling by bus please do not unload children until the buses are instructed by a staff member to the designated bus parking area.

  • Daily Activities, Presentations & Map
    The day of your visit the farm will have available a one sheet, which will have a listing of what will be happening at the farm the day of your visit. On the backside of this sheet you will find a map of the farm.

  • The Rides
    Tractor Train Rides are available to your group at no additional charge. Pony Rides are NOT included. 

    Weather is the primary reason for rides not to be operational. Morning forecast predicting rain, threats of thunderstorms and warm temperatures exceeding 90 degrees will cause our rides not to operate. Charmingfare Farm is a working farm an occasionally situations may arise requiring our staff’s attention not allowing particular rides to operate.

  • Picnic Areas
    Shaded picnic areas are available for snack or lunch breaks. Groups are welcome and encouraged to bring snack and lunches.

  • Gift Shop
    We do have a gift shop which offers beverages, snacks, ice cream and more.

  • Rest Rooms
    Port-a-pots are available throughout the farm. There is hand sanitizer available in the port-a-pots and a hand washing station with running water beside the sheep barn.
