Zoo Admission

Charmingfare Farm offers a unique experience that combines traditional agricultural animals with wildlife encounters. This destination is perfect for children, featuring the Dairy Discovery Barn, which includes a large hands-on petting area. Guests can start their adventure by interacting with classic farm animals, and then take a scenic walk along our wooded paths. These trails lead to exciting wildlife exhibits, where visitors can meet some of North America’s most impressive predators. Charmingfare Farm provides an educational and entertaining experience for the whole family.

When can I visit the animals?

A Weather Alert, if necessary, will be posted by 8am on the day of your visit. Please stay informed and plan your visit accordingly by reviewing our detailed weather policy.

  • Closed: August 29th – September 2nd. Come see our animals at the Hopkinton State Fair.

What animals are on the farm?

Discover the world of Charmingfare Farm, where a diverse array of animals awaits you. Our farm is a haven for an impressive range of creatures, from the gentle alpacas to the majestic beef cattle. Meet our friendly chickens, observe the daily life of dairy cattle, and be charmed by our donkeys. Marvel at the strength of our draft horses, enjoy the playful antics of ducks and geese, and get up close with llamas. Our farm also features adorable miniature horses, inquisitive Nigerian miniature goats, and the serene Old English Babydoll sheep. You’ll see hardworking oxen, colorful peacocks, cheerful pigs, and gentle ponies. Our rabbit friends are always a delight, as are our saddle horses, perfect for equestrian enthusiasts. And don’t forget to say hello to our turkeys!

Step into the wild side of Charmingfare Farm with our wildlife residents. Experience the awe of observing black bears, feel the mystery of the wolf, and encounter the exotic camel. Our eagle owl is a sight to behold, while the red fox adds a dash of cunning to our collection. The bobcat and coyote showcase the untamed beauty of North American wildlife. Unlimited Ride Wristbands

Available only on Saturdays and Sundays, our Unlimited Ride Wristband grants access to all the rides operating on the day of your visit. Each visitor, aged 24 months and older, needs one wristband to enjoy the rides listed below. Please note, on both the Horse-Drawn and Tractor Train Rides, children must be accompanied by at least one adult.

During your visit, you may ask about renting one of our wagons. Children love riding around the farm in one of these special wagons.

You Should Know

  • Admission Ticket(s) and Ride Wristband(s) are NON REFUNDABLE once purchased.

  • Please review our WEATHER POLICY .
    (Check if a weather alert has been posted before heading to the farm when there is inclement weather, especially when temperatures are 90 degrees or higher.)

  • WASH YOUR HANDS after visiting the animals. Parents should supervise children’s hand washing especially, before drinking or eating any food.

  • We cannot guarantee any particular animal(s) will be visible or on exhibit during your visit.

  • We deliberately allow the vegetation in our wildlife enclosures to become overgrown. This practice simulates a more natural habitat, creates a sense of security and we believe the ground stays cooler aiding in the comfort of the wildlife.

  • Our Animal Feed Cups DO NOT need meet the same standards of control as food for human consumption. Assume NO PRECAUTION has been taken towards anyone with a food allergy, especially with regards to peanuts.

  • The farm for the most part is wheelchair accessible. Please call 603 483-5623 x100 if you have any questions or concerns. We are always willing to accommodate request to the best of our ability.

  • FREE PARKING for all including campers and buses.

  • NO PETS ARE ALLOWED and there are no kennel facilities at the farm. Service animals are welcome.
