Charmingfare Farm offers a unique experience that combines traditional agricultural animals with wildlife encounters. This destination is perfect for children, featuring the Dairy Discovery Barn, which includes a large hands-on petting area. Guests can start their adventure by interacting with classic farm animals, and then take a scenic walk along our wooded paths. These trails lead to exciting wildlife exhibits, where visitors can meet some of North America’s most impressive predators. Charmingfare Farm provides an educational and entertaining experience for the whole family.

Ride Wristbands
Our Ride Wristband, available only on Saturdays and Sundays, provides access to all operational rides on the day of your visit. Every visitor aged 24 months and older must have a wristband to enjoy the rides below. Please note that on both the Horse-Drawn and Tractor Train Rides, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pony Ride
Enjoy a pony ride at Charmingfare Farm, ideal for children up to 75 pounds. This fun activity allows kids to try horseback riding safely with a parent present, creating memorable experiences.
Horse-Drawn Ride
Immerse yourself in the timeless charm of a Horse-Drawn Ride, suitable for guests of all ages. Journey along historic logging trails surrounding the farm. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic adventure.
Tractor Train Ride
Hop aboard the Tractor Train Ride. Perfect for all ages, this adventure is full of fun twists and turns, making every moment memorable. Experience some John Deere tractor-powered fun!

Bring along a copy of the Zoo Map with you on the day of your visit. (Animal displays are subject to change with out notice.)
Children Wagon Rentals
During your visit, you may ask about renting one of our wagons. Children love riding around the farm in one of these special wagons.

Zoo Hours
When can I visit the animals?
- Visit us for Zoo Admission from May 10 to September 28, 2025 - open Thursday through Sunday 10 to 4pm!
- Closed Dates
August 28 - September 1, as we’ll be showcasing our animals at the Hopkinton State Fair.
Weather Permitting: We recommend checking for weather alerts before heading to the farm. If needed, an alert will be posted by 8 AM on the day of your visit. Please review our detailed weather policy to stay informed and plan accordingly.
What about the other Months?
October–March: While regular Zoo Admission runs from May to September, we’re open year-round for special events that may include opportunities to visit our animals. Check our online calendar to see what’s happening!
Our Animals
What Animals Are on the Farm?
At Charmingfare Farm, you’ll encounter a wide variety of animals. From gentle alpacas and majestic beef cattle to friendly chickens, dairy cattle, and playful ducks and geese, there’s so much to see. Meet donkeys, draft horses, llamas, miniature horses, Nigerian goats, and Old English Babydoll sheep. You’ll also find oxen, peacocks, pigs, ponies, rabbits, saddle horses, and turkeys.

Charmingfare Farm is also home to wildlife residents, including black bears, wolves, a camel, an eagle owl, red foxes, bobcats, coyotes, porcupines, raccoons, and fallow deer. Don’t miss our skunks for a unique experience. Every animal adds its own charm, making your visit unforgettable!
