March is MAPLE MONTH in New Hampshire so come join us on our horse-drawn Maple Express. Charmingfare Farm has created an event for the whole family to experience maple sugaring on a working farm. Everyone loves the taste of New Hampshire’s maple syrup!
|Horse-Drawn/Tractor Train Ride
Our draft horses or tractor train will transport you to our authentic sugar shack to meet the Sugar Maker.

The Oakhurst Dairy Discovery Barn will be available for your children to visit with their animal friends.

You Should Know
- "Check in Time"
Example: 1:00pm → 2:30pm
Your check in time in the example above is 1:00pm. Our staff CANNOT check you in any earlier and arriving LATER will not allow you time to participate. We expect you will be with us for a time span of 1:00pm → 2:30pm.
- During the month of March conditions on a farm can be unpredictable. Please plan for either snowy or muddy conditions by wearing appropriate footwear. Boots are strongly recommended!
- Our horses will transport you to and from the Sugar Shack.
- There is a bonfire surrounded by picnic tables. You may bring along your own refreshments to enjoy.
- We serve silver dollar pancakes for guests to taste test the syrup. Please do not consider this a meal.
- During your visit our barns housing our agricultural animals are available for guests.
- Sled Runners or Wheels?
The condition of our trails determines whether or not we use sled runners or wheels. (Sleighs need a 6 inch base of packed snow.)
Question: How do I know what DATES & TIMES are available?
Answer: Choose a ticket option in the first drop-down box, then "Pick a Date". Under the "Pick a Schedule" drop-down you will be presented with times and availability. If you wish to purchase continue the booking process to the checkout page and complete the transaction.
Question: Can a promotional code or discount be applied to Schools or Homeschool groups booking?
Answer: No, Schools and Homeschool groups are already at a reduced rate.
Question: What age are children admitted for FREE?
Answer: Children who are 23 months and under do not need a ticket.
Question: Do you offer a Military discount?
Answer: Those individuals (Active or Retired) who have a valid military identification with an actual photograph are admitted FREE. We can only accept documents with a photograph.
