Weather & Operational Policy

New England weather conditions can change rapidly. For the safety of our guests, staff, animals, and equipment, Charmingfare Farm continuously monitors weather and road conditions.

Weather Decisions

  • All operational decisions are made by 7:00 AM on the day of your scheduled visit.
  • If weather or road conditions impact operations, a WEATHER ALERT will be posted on our website by 8:00 AM.
  • When activated, a red WEATHER ALERT notification will appear on the website with a link to important updates.
  • Guests are strongly encouraged to check the website before departing for the farm on the day of their visit.

When a Weather Alert is Issued

If a WEATHER ALERT affects your scheduled activity, the following options will be available:

Rescheduling

  • Guests may reschedule their entire booking, provided:
    a. Availability exists
    b. It is not the final day of the event or activity
  • All tickets within the order must be moved together. Partial rescheduling of individual tickets is not available.
  • Once a reservation has been rescheduled, additional changes cannot be made.

Farm Credit

If rescheduling is not possible, guests may request Farm Credit.

  • Is based on the actual dollars paid
  • Excludes promotional discounts or special offers
  • May be applied toward any future online purchase
  • Is valid for 18 months from the date of issue

Please allow up to 24 hours for processing.

Farm Credit Access

Once issued, your Farm Credit is stored securely within your account. To access your credit:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click My Account
  3. Open your Dashboard

Your balance will be displayed under Farm Credit / e-Gift Card.

Refund Policy

Charmingfare Farm does not offer cancellations, refunds, rain checks or exchanges. Your credit card information is not stored on our server, rather it is tokenized and stored on Authorize.Net’s secure servers.

On WEATHER ALERT days, staff assistance is typically available until 11:00 AM.
