We are looking for a dependable person to work on our farm either a part-time or full time .
You must be able to physically handle all the demands that go along with working on a farm. Duties will include lifting grain bags and hay bales that typically can weigh 50 or more pounds. There’s plenty of shoveling, raking and pushing wheel barrels around. We split fire firewood in the winters and plant gardens in the spring. Take care of the animals year round. Work on a farm can be endless.
We operate special events throughout the year at the farm. Our animals also travel to other locations. You should enjoy interacting with people especially children, you may be asked to pitch in with these events.
We believe the ideal candidate is a person who understands working on a farm with animals (and visitors) is more of a lifestyle rather than just a job. We truly believe you must have a desire to work on a farm for this position with us to be successful.
If you are going to apply, please be sure you are dependable and have reliable transportation. You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Remember, this is a position that requires you to work outside in rain, heat, cold and snow. We hope you will be flexible in your scheduling and willing to work weekends.
