I am sorry to say we are NOT able to operate our rides today. The seven inches of snow we received overnight is light and powdery. Our equipment is unable to pack the snow to support the weight of our sleighs. There is no base of snow underneath. The sleighs will simply cut through the snow and drag on the bare ground below.

Normally, we would substitute the sleigh rides with a wagon ride. However, there is too much snow on our trails for the horses to pull the wagons. We cannot plow the trails because we need this snow to create a base for future snow falls.
