Frequently Asked Questions
Is Charmingfare Farm's Harvest of Horror scary?
We think so! Some people scare easier than others. Fear is a relative thing. Let's face it, you play a role in how scared you get. If you come to have a good time and enjoy yourself, the more you'll enjoy our event (or anything else for that matter). Scariness is hard to measure.
Charmingfare Farm strives to provide a Halloween event for families looking to be scared. Families with children who do not want to be scared should consider our "Children's Trick or Treat" event during daylight hours.
Can I bring my children?
We've found that some children get scared while others don't at all. Although we will not refuse anybody to enter due to age, we ask that you use your discretion as a parent to decide if your child can handle it. You know your child best.
Can I be refused admission?
We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone for any circumstance. This can be as little as being rude, use of foul language, or more aggressive behavior like pushing, vulgar actions, weapons of any kind, and alcohol. This is to help keep things safe and enjoyable for everyone.
How long should I plan to visit for?
We estimate on average you should plan on a minimum of two hours.
Will I be touched?
The actors at Charmingfare Farm will not intentionally touch you. However, they do get very close. Occasionally you may brush up against their costumes or props.
How long is the wait?
The closer we get to Halloween, the longer the wait and bigger the attendance. If you do not want to experience a wait come earlier in the month. As a general rule Friday & Sunday nights are not as crowded compared to a Saturday evening.
Do I have to stand in a line and wait?
When you and your party check in at our admission window you will be issued a boarding pass. Instead of standing in a line you are free to walk around and enjoy the animals, refreshments and our roaring bonfires. You will be informed when it is your time to head to the loading area.
Do you give group discounts?
Yes! If you have 20 or more in group please call 603 483-5623 x100 or email us at gs@charmingfare.com. Group discounts must be pre-arranged prior to your arrival.
Are tickets refundable?
