Always a good time to visit

The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult and sorrowful times we will ever face. As we mourn our loss, we memorialize the deceased, and celebrate the life that they lived.

The release of white doves at a funeral or memorial services has traditionally symbolized the spiritual message of hope and remembrance. It is a beautiful way of expressing a final goodbye. The feeling of peace helps to bring closure to family and friends and is a unique, heartfelt way to honor a loved one. A dove release is sure to offer a peaceful and healing tribute.

Trinity

Begins with a release of three doves, which symbolize the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. These three doves will ascend to sky and begin to circle. A single dove, representing the spirit of the loved one, will ascend to unite with the three doves flying overhead. Together the spirit dove will be escorted to Heaven on the final journey.

Coming of Angels

A dozen white doves are released a short distance from the graveside. They will circle over the ceremony several times, as if angels had arrived to escort the loved one's spirit to heaven. Then a single dove is released by a family member, which joins the others flying overhead. Shortly thereafter, they will fly off together into the horizon.
(If there is more than one soul to be remembered, a single dove can be released to represent each one)

With the rustle of wings

I'll take your memories along

As I soar up to the heavens

From where they just played that song.

Just part your hands open

as you feel my beating heart.

My soul is alive as I now depart.

With the rustle of wings,

I'll enter the pearly gates.

I'll be with family from long ago and

For you I will wait.

Always keep this feather close

As I remember of my souls release

And in every whisper of the wind you'll hear

the rustle of my wings.
